Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and professional Warehouse Manager to join our growing company. The ideal candidate should have experience in e-commerce management, distribution laws, space optimization, warehouse layout, reporting, and business analysis. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring all activities are conducted efficiently and safely. This includes overseeing inventory management, order fulfilment, staff scheduling, and logistics while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfilment.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and customer service teams to optimize delivery processes.
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.
• Oversee cycle counting and inventory audits.
• Implement and optimize warehouse management systems.
• Utilize real-time data collection to increase accuracy and reduce labor costs.
• Maintain computerized administration, stock inventory, and retrieval systems.
• Inspect and approve the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out.
• Enforce health standards, safety, and security procedures.
• Enforce company rules and regulations.
• Manage staff, build teams, train employees, and monitor production performance.
• Communicate and interact with clients, vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Oversee logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations.
• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to assess, analyze, and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity.
• Perform general maintenance of the machinery used in the warehouse.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
