Responsibilities

·       Responsibility for using the information provided by the pricing analysts and setting pricing schemes for the company's products and/or services

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
  • Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance 
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
  • Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes


Sales KPIs that the businesses will rely on:

·      Total revenue: income generated from sales activities

·      Profit margin: profits after sales expenses are taken into account

·      Sales growth: increase or decrease in revenue from two different time periods

·      Sales closing ratio: the rate at which prospects are being converted into customers

·      Sales cycle length: the average amount of time it takes to convert a customer

·      Revenue per account: the average revenue generated per deal closed

·      Customer acquisition cost: the money it takes to acquire a new customer

·      Customer lifetime value: the potential value that a customer can offer throughout their relationship with the business

·      Churn rate: the rate at which the business is losing customers

·      Net promoter score: the likelihood that a current customer will recommend the solution to other buyers

Skills

Objectives of this role

  • Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
  • Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them
  • Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
  • Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
  • Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
  • Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships


Required skills and qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Superb leadership ability
  • Ability to travel at least 20% of the time


Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Motivational speaking experience
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota


Education


Holder of degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance, which equip them with the analytical and strategic skills necessary for driving sales and managing teams.
