JOB PURPOSE

To design, develop, and manage Business Intelligence (BI) tools and platforms, ensuring proper reporting and data analysis to support decision-making activities in alignment with business requirements.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Business Analysts to develop and document business requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain standard reports and functional dashboards based on business needs.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and optimization of BI models to support periodical and ad-hoc reporting needs.
• Generate reports for performance monitoring and business decision-making, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Architect, design, build, test, maintain, and operate an end-to-end big data platform.
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and security of big data platforms.
• Lead the migration and transformation of large, complex datasets from multiple sources into the big data platform.
• Manage, test, and maintain data pipelines for efficient data flow and processing.
• Continuously optimize data platform performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Administer and maintain end-to-end big data platforms and ensure system scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and support informed decision-making.
• Implement and maintain big data tools and technologies to improve business operations.
• Conduct analysis, design, development, validation, and deployment of BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools).
• Operate, maintain, and support data analytics platforms, ensuring smooth BI server operations.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and integration with different types of data sources.
• Set up and evaluate BI servers, ensuring proper integration with data source systems.
• Design and develop scalable BI solutions, building lists, crosstabs, graphs, scorecards, metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop real-time and near real-time data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Contribute to all aspects of the project life cycle, including strategy, road-mapping, architecture, and implementation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Experience 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence modules and tools

Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent is required
