Job Description
Key RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load calculations, cable and equipment sizing, power system modeling, lighting design
- Elaboration of one-line diagrams and schedules, specification editing.
- Electrical system analysis and calculations
- Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
- Coordination with various design engineering disciplines associated with water and wastewater design.
- Design of SCADA,PLC, MCC...
- determining the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment
- Provide electrical engineering support to facility technicians to troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and controllers
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes and regulations
Proposal
- Understanding of piping & instrument diagram (P&ID), process flow diagram (PFD), line sizing, sizing of equipment
- Preparation of Technical & Commercial Bid / Proposal Document,
- Preparation of technical documents in response to tender requirements, like method statements, Project execution plan, time schedules, management plans, etc.
- Assist in preparing cost data for proposals and contract negotiations,
- Determine proposal scope, define requirements,
- Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards programs, and reports,
- Vendor selection & follow up to get budgetary offers for system equipment,
- Preparation of RFQs and communicate with suppliers,
- Support sales effort with timely response to technical and commercial questions from clients on multiple product lines.
- Communicate with supplier to solve and conclude technical issues,
- Attend meeting with client to discuss technical issues,
- Coordinate bid and bid management with other departments,
Desired Candidate Profile
Water treatment and infrastructure
Necessary Knowledge and Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering & proposal
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering
- AutoCAD
- Eplan
- Revit
- Dialux or similar lighting software
- Excel/word
- Very Good level in English communication and writing
- Previous knowledge and experience with installation, commissioning in water field will be desirable
- Able to meet deadlines and work within a team
- Highly focused
- Working under pressure
