Qualification Required.

BS Degree / Diploma in HSE, industrial Hygiene, environmental science or in a related field is preferred with valid NEBOSH Certificate.  Must have been employed in drilling industry for a minimum of 12 years expereince in Safety / drilling role.   Must have ability to assist with developing implementing and coordinating comprehensive health and safety programs. Strong communciation skils both verbal and written.  

Work Responsiblities.

Adhere to all cleints Drilling & workover and international HSE standars policies and adminstrative controls.

provide advise and consultation to all personnel to assit in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with HSE regualtions standars and practices.

implement the corporate HSE policy and montiors compliance. This includes the sueprvisoon of local surveys and smapling as well as the interpretation of measurement results.

stay up to date with all applicable HSE regualtions, standards procedures and guidelines as well as all client HSE programs.

help organize and participates in major HSE surveys such as all safety/environmental related surveys inspections and assessments and implement of HSE programs. Coordinate ongoing HSE projects such as safety management systems   environment management systems   including the development of safety/environmental objectives and indicators. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.

keep client updated on non compliant and significiant environmental issues. Apply risk managment practices on client facilities. prepare HSE orientations, safety training and job site inspection procedures. conduct specalized HSE training programs.   cinduct work site safety management system audits to establish level of   implementation.  

conduct root cause analysis investigation and prepare written reports ofr all incidents under his area of responsibility.
