Government Relations Coordinator

Job Purpose: To handle and follow up on all government-related issues as assigned by his direct manager in addition to preparing all company government documents and following up with the GROs.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Updates and maintains employees’ files and adds documents accordingly.

2. Keeps all employees’ passports secured and forward them along with the Exit/Re-entry Visas to the employee going on vacation or final exit.

3. Coordinates with local and foreign agencies with regard to employee issues, recruitment progress reports, and contract preparation.

4. Handle, follow up, and is in direct contact with Rental Manpower Supply agencies with regard to their employees and requests for manpower based on operations’ needs.

5. Provides support for the professional development of staff reporting directly to him.

6. Control and follow up on employee GOSI registration and removal.

7. Revise, maintain and issue all legal documents and contracts to ensure adherence to laws and regulations, including the municipality, civil defense licenses, commercial registration, etc.

8. Handles employees’ residency permit-related issues such as issuance, renewal, sponsor change, profession change, cancellation, etc. using the government online system (ELM, Muqeem, MOI, TAMM, ETC.)

9. Arrange and directs the issuance and renewal of work permits and driving licenses for all GMSS expatriate employees.

10. Prepares all exit reentry visas using the government online system.

11. Follows up the attestations from the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce and Foreign Affairs Ministry with GROs.

12. Ensures the renewal of passports for all GMSS expatriate employees.

13. Prepares all necessary documents to issue new visas and assign them to foreign agencies for recruitment purposes (Power of attorney, agreements attested by COC…etc.)

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements – Education, Experience, Competencies

Educational Requirements Mandatory:

  • High School Diploma
  • bachelor’s degree Desirable: • B.A. Degree or
  • MBA in HR
  • Experience Mandatory: • 0– 2 yrs

WORKING CONDITIONS Working Environment 

The job of a Government Relations Coordinator is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment but may require traveling to projects for employee-related issues.
