electrical, low current systems & data cables

POSITION GOAL:

Perform skilled duties in the design, maintenance, repair, and installation of various low voltage systems.

Essential Duties:

• Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair low voltage systems (i.e. LAN; PA, CCTV, CCATV, Intercom). 
• Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair control circuits, conduits and duct systems, light and power circuits appliances, generators, fans, heaters, fixtures, and media equipment.
• Using fluke test.
• Install necessary interior and exterior wiring for equipment and appliances. 
• Install, test, and maintain storage battery system. 
• Attend training, workshops, in-services, and continuing education as requested by the department supervisor. 
• Assist in the training of other personnel in the department.
• Maintain records on work performed. 
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance in the workplace
• Follow oral and written directions. Communicate effectively in writing and speech.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

• Reports to the Director of site Engineering and project manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with five (5) years or more of related work experience. Prefer related specialist training certificate, structured cabling, fiber splicing, or formalized schooling or equivalent on-the-job training.

• have a record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role.
• Product installation certification from vendors.
• PC proficiency.
