Vendor Management Analyst

Strategy & Governance:

  • Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.
  • Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate prices, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
  • Researching available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
  • Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
  • Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
  • Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
  • Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
  • Assist the procurement team in the tendering process and reaching out to vendors requesting prices as per the Business Owner's needs.

  • An analytical mind is able to “see” the complexities of procedures & regulations

  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi’s standards and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping

Academic and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement best practices, and systems.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Vendor Management or related position
  • Preferably with experience in procurement in the construction industry.
