• Develop and manage operational and occupational safety programs.

• Ensure safety compliance in construction and maintenance operations.

• Conduct risk assessments and manage hazardous activities.

• Manage MOC (Management of Change) procedures.

• Perform safety inspections, evaluations, and audits and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare safety and compliance reports.

• Lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.

• Monitor safe work practices and international safety standards.

• Coordinate safety activities with operations, engineering, maintenance, and contractors.

• Plan and schedule inspections, audits, training, and safety activities.

• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

• International Safety/Occupational Safety certification such as NEBOSH or OSHA.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in occupational and operational safety.

• Experience in safety program management, especially in construction or maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of Risk Management and MOC.

• Experience in safety inspections, evaluations, investigations, and reporting.

• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and hazardous-environment safety procedures.

• Knowledge of international safety standards and codes.

• Experience in safety planning and scheduling.

• Excellent English communication and report-writing skills
