Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 - $80/hour
Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for high-impact software projects. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and reliability across multiple platforms and environments. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, analyzing test results, and identifying defects to improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.• Execute and maintain automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and security.• Collaborate with developers and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous delivery.• Analyze test results, document defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to improving testing methodologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation engineering, with expertise in scripting languages like Python, Java, or Java Script.• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Appium, or Postman for API testing.• Experience with test frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, or Test NG for structured test execution.• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle CI for test automation integration.• Ability to analyze complex system behavior and troubleshoot automated test failures effectively.• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is a plus.• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and branching strategies for test code management.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in validating software quality.
