Role Description The Civil Engineer will work on-site in Dammam in a full-time capacity, supporting the planning, design, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering designs and drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves overseeing site activities, monitoring project progress, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Civil Engineer will also participate in stormwater management planning, cost estimation, and reporting, while maintaining clear communication with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical project challenges. Experience in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking for construction and infrastructure projects. Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices, including drainage design, flood mitigation measures, and compliance with environmental regulations. Professional experience as Civil Engineers on-site, including supervision of construction activities and quality control of civil works. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. Proficiency in engineering design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D or similar) and familiarity with relevant local and international standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region and knowledge of local regulatory requirements is an advantage.
