Role: AWS Engineer - Cloud (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 - $80/hour
Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure supporting high-traffic applications. The role involves optimizing AWS services for performance, cost, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:• Design, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Deploy for automated deployments.• Monitor system performance using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and third-party tools to ensure uptime and reliability.• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security configurations.• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for team knowledge sharing and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands-on experience with AWS services.• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting for automation tasks.• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
