Role Description The Manager, Logistics Sourcing and Contracting is a full-time, on-site role based in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, KSA. This role is responsible for overseeing logistics operations, including sourcing transportation and warehousing services, negotiating contracts with logistics and supply chain partners, and ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery of materials and finished products. The manager will coordinate inventory flows, optimize procurement and supply chain processes, and work closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to meet delivery commitments and service-level targets. Daily tasks include monitoring logistics performance, managing relationships with vendors and service providers, resolving shipment or delivery issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves analyzing data to improve logistics efficiency, preparing reports for management, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and sourcing.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management to plan, coordinate, and optimize material and product flows. Proficiency in Inventory Management to maintain appropriate stock levels and support production and customer demand. Experience in Procurement to source logistics services and materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. Customer Service skills to support internal and external stakeholders, resolve delivery issues, and maintain high service standards. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in glass or related sectors. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with competence in using ERP and logistics management systems.
