Network & IPTV Engineer

Job Title: Network & IPTV Engineer

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Working Days: 5 Days per Week

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network & IPTV Engineer to join our technical team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and IPTV systems.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Aruba Networks, Fortinet, and IPTV headend and middleware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki and Aruba Networks solutions.
• Configure and support LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and hardware-related issues.
• Perform network upgrades, configuration changes, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.

Firewall & Network Security

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls.
• Implement firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, routing, and security rules.
• Monitor network security events and investigate connectivity/security issues.
• Apply security best practices to protect network infrastructure.
• Support site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions.

IPTV Systems

• Design, install, configure, and maintain IPTV systems and infrastructure.
• Manage IPTV headend equipment, streamers, encoders/decoders, and related infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPTV middleware platforms.
• Monitor IPTV streams, channels, multicast traffic, and service availability.
• Troubleshoot video/audio quality, buffering, signal, and connectivity issues.
• Support integration between IPTV platforms, network infrastructure, and end-user devices.
• Perform testing and commissioning of IPTV systems at project sites.

Technical Support & Projects

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for network and IPTV-related issues.
• Participate in project implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, clients, and project teams when required.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLA requirements.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and emergency troubleshooting activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Saudi nationality or spouse of a Saudi citizen.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership/classification, where applicable.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in network engineering and IPTV systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Aruba Networks.
• Strong experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls.
• Practical experience with IPTV headend, streamers, middleware, multicast, and related technologies.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network security.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on-site and support project requirements when needed.
