About the Role

Jobstronaut's client is seeking a Draftsman (Electrical) with proficiency in EPLAN to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Draftsman will be instrumental in translating engineering and architectural specifications into precise technical drawings and plans, ensuring high-quality panel integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed panel integration drawings, shop drawings, and wiring connections.
• Perform calculations for actual material requirements based on the latest approved shop drawings.
• Prepare and share work status reports to ensure project transparency.
• Identify and communicate potential design problems to the Line Manager for timely resolution.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, incorporating their suggestions into drawings to achieve smooth and high-quality panel integrations.
• Ensure all final designs comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
• Adhere to standard company engineering procedures and any agreed customer variations to those procedures.
• Ensure all assigned work is completed within established deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Demonstrated proficiency in EPLAN software is essential.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed technical drawings and plans.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and panel integration.
• Familiarity with building regulations and compliance standards.
