Al Sharq United Trading and Contracting Company announces its need for an Accountant to join its team in Arar, Northern Borders Region. The accountant will have a core responsibility in managing the company’s financial operations, including preparing and organizing expenditure documents, following up on revenue collection, documenting and analyzing it, and recording accounting entries. This role requires experience ranging from two to five years in the accounting field.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The accountant undertakes a set of pivotal tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. These responsibilities include the following:

• Auditing financial claims and ensuring their compliance with legal and financial conditions.
• Preparing, organizing, and documenting expenditure documents, following up on their audit and authorization for disbursement from approved regulatory authorities.
• Monitoring current and capital expenditures according to the monthly financial position of the budget items.
• Preparing the financial position and monthly summaries, and preparing and organizing the annual financial statements.

Accounting Operations and Reports

The accountant will perform daily and periodic accounting operations, in addition to preparing specialized financial reports. These tasks include:

• Preparing accounting entries and recording financial operations in the ledgers.
• Auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations with monthly statements.
• Preparing documents and reports specialized in cost and revenue accounting and storing them in the relevant database.
• Developing accounting methods and procedures and keeping up with scientific and technological developments in the field.

Essential Qualifications

To hold this position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Practical experience in accounting ranging between two to five years.
• Deep understanding of the accounting principles and standards followed.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and analyze data accurately.
