System Operation Specialist | Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia

About the Role: To ensure the safe, reliable, and effective operation of all automated and non automated warehousing materials handling equipment and systems to meet Almarai business requirements. 

1. Hands on repair and maintenance of automated material handling equipment.
2. Diagnose and fix the electrical, electronic & mechanical faults.
3. Assist the installation teams with the preparation and installation of automatic materials handling equipment.
4.  Supporting the operation with the recovery and resolution of all short term and long-term faults/stoppages.
5. Breakdown resolution reporting and follow up,

Requirements:

• Must be holding bachelor’s degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience with industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
• Hands‑on knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider).
• Experience in control systems design, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
• Good verbal and written communication English skills.
• Must have competencies such as: Ability to plan and organize multiple activities simultaneously. Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Good interpersonal skills, Positive enthusiastic attitude towards work.
