JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE


Overall responsible for Mechanical System works for CRPO Projects To lead all Mechanical equipment installation and completions. To provide on-site coordination for all phases of work, including coordination and planning of materials, workers/


subcontractors’ allocation and detailed scheduling as per project requirements. To ensure projects are completed safely, on time.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


• Supervise and monitor the progress of Mechanical systems and construction activities to ensure systems are properly constructed and installed to the approved design and specifications.


• To plan ROS dates for all equipment based on project timeline and schedule. Responsible for the delivery of Equipment in compliance with system specifications.


• Coordinate installation of equipment and to follow through with Mechanical Completion for smooth handover for Commissioning activities.


• Ensure that works within his discipline adhere strictly to the latest approved construction project drawings, ITP’s, procedures, and site instructions.


• To establish manpower as per project schedule requirements and to plan for all equipment and facilities required to execute works.


• Assist in each phase of the project term from design to completion in accordance with project specifications and efficient use of resources.


• To liaise with client’s representatives and subcontractors on all project issues to ensure safe and efficient delivery of project.


• To coordinate with other departments for complex lifting of equipment, to be responsible for the safe landing as per site conditions.


• Prioritize field execution sequence and resources when conflicts arise.


• To plan for preservation of equipment upon installation onsite to delivery.


• Possess strong initiative around decision making and ability to conceptualize plans and technical solutions to deal with a wide array of standard and innovative construction issues.


• Implement, monitor, and drive the project schedule. Promptly notify management team of schedule and performance issues, be proactive in anticipating potential problems that may impact the project performance.


• Should possess strong knowledge and understanding of shipyard HSEQ regulations and rig building job certification requirements and ensure the same is communicated to the project team on a reqular basis.


• Identify the work priorities, focus on the critical path, analyze the work problems in writing with own problem- solving mentality, accurate supervision, decision-maker with a strong convincing personality, full readiness with 'Plan B' for any


unexpected issues.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Education


• Technical Engineering Qualification.


(Diploma or equivalent) • Bachelor Engineering Degree (preferred).


Experience


• For bachelor's holders at least 9-15, for diploma holders at least 15+ years of experience in ship / fabrication yards and preferably involved in offshore construction activities.


• Experienced in handling offshore related projects which are of high value and with technical complexities.


Languages • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in the English Language.
