The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all workshop activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality assembly, maintenance, and production operations of drilling and completion tools. This role oversees personnel, production schedules, equipment utilization, and material management, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational standards. The Workshop Supervisor also drives process improvement, supports localization projects, and ensures compliance with HSE and quality requirements across all workshop operations.
Job Description:1. Develop, implement, and monitor workshop production plans to ensure timely and efficient task execution.2. Supervise and coordinate workshop personnel, assign daily work, and ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety rules.3. Oversee on-site workshop management, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with HSE and quality standards.4. Manage all workshop equipment and tools, including maintenance, calibration, and repair schedules to ensure reliability and readiness.5. Supervise material handling, inventory control, and documentation to support uninterrupted production and field operations.6. Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process optimization for improved productivity and efficiency.7. Ensure all assembled and maintained drilling and completion tools meet inspection and testing standards before release for field use.8. Train and evaluate workshop staff to enhance technical competence and teamwork.9. Prepare regular reports on production progress, equipment status, and material usage.10. Perform other duties assigned by the team leader or management.
Qualifications:1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.2. Minimum 10 years of experience in oilfield workshop operations or mechanical manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.3. Strong knowledge of drilling and completion tools, mechanical systems, and workshop processes.4. Proficient in production planning, equipment maintenance, and material management.5. Good understanding of HSE and QA/QC systems and standards.6. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.7. Good English communication skills (spoken and written).8. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and familiar with workshop management systems.9. Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and continuous improvement mindset.
