Procurement Manager Ambatt Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our Procurement Department in Riyadh. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in construction procurement, supply chain management, and vendor management, with a proven track record in delivering cost savings, procurement planning, contract negotiations, and managing procurement operations for major construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Procurement Department and develop annual and project-specific procurement strategies. Oversee the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), RFQs, technical and commercial evaluations, purchase orders, and material delivery. Review and approve technical and commercial bid evaluations and supplier recommendations. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements with suppliers and subcontractors. Develop, maintain, and evaluate the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and supplier performance. Monitor Long Lead Items and implement mitigation plans to avoid project delays. Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, compliance, and project requirements. Coordinate closely with Project Management, Technical Office, Contracts, Finance, Warehouse, and Site teams. Oversee procurement operations through ERP systems, preferably Odoo ERP. Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and requirements, including SABER, SASO, FASAH, Local Content, and Mostadam, where applicable. Prepare procurement dashboards and management reports covering procurement status, supplier performance, cost savings, risks, and delivery performance. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team while promoting best procurement practices and continuous improvement. Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, preferably within construction companies. Proven experience managing procurement activities for construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Strong expertise in procuring MEP materials, including:Fire Fighting Systems HVAC Systems Plumbing & Drainage Sanitary Ware & Accessories Low Current Systems BMSFire Alarm Systems Electrical Cables LV Panels Lighting Fixtures Cable Trays & Trunking EMT & PVC Conduits and Fittings Good knowledge of Civil and Architectural construction materials. Strong experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, procurement planning, and supply chain optimization. Experience working on government or mega construction projects is highly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, procurement reporting, and ERP systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and procurement teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
