About the Role Byrne Equipment Rental is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Power Projects to drive growth in power solutions, from small-scale installations to mega power projects, across our operating territories in the GCC. Based in Jubail, KSA, this is a dual commercial-and-delivery role: you will identify, develop and convert new opportunities, then lead the full project lifecycle from tendering and costing through commissioning and post-commissioning operations.
What You'll DoLead business development for large-scale power projects across the region, engaging directly with key clients and decision-makers Develop and execute the Power Projects growth strategy across Byrne's operating territories Identify opportunities within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, Infrastructure and Industrial sectors Prepare project costing with the Technical Manager and lead technical/commercial presentations Review contract terms, manage variation orders and mitigate commercial and execution risks Oversee full project implementation, kickoff to commissioning and beyond, ensuring timeline, technical and cost alignment Supervise training and deployment of site operators; establish site operational policies Monitor site performance, lead troubleshooting and breakdown response Champion HSE and quality standards across all project sites Lead, mentor and develop project engineers, site supervisors and operators
What We're Looking For10+ years in power generation or industrial equipment rental Minimum 5 years managing large-scale power projects Proven track record in both commercial (BD, tendering, negotiation) and operational (execution, commissioning) aspects of power project delivery Strong knowledge of power systems, generators, electrical infrastructure, load management and hybrid solutions Experience in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC strongly preferred Fluent English; Arabic is a plus Willingness to travel across the region as business needs dictate
