The role of the Supply Chain Officer is to coordinate the buying, placement and delivery process of goods and purchase orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate placement of purchase orders to ensure material is delivered on time.
- Monitor and review supplier on time delivery and tackle any challenges or late deliveries.
- Ensure any inconsistencies with orders are resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor stock levels.
- Continuously strive to reduce unit cost by determining the correct quantities of materials at optimum price and quality.
- Liaise and cooperate with the sales department to obtain a sales forecast identifying the ongoing needs for product volumes, in order to ensure the required purchasing activities take place, and products are available to meet the commercial needs of the company.
- Prepare the orders and obtain approval from the Supply chain manager; ensure that the orders’ requirements are updated, and meet company’s specifications.
- Direct the orders to the chosen supplier ensuring that financial terms and procedures are followed.
- Follow-up with suppliers to obtain order confirmation, ensure agreed pricing items are followed, and products will be received as per company’s schedule.
- Ensure that all transportation documents are sent to clearing agencies, processed and submitted to the accounting department for cost control purposes.
- Any other task as per management’s expectations.

Profile Prerequisites:
- Bachelor in Business or any related field from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain or purchasing role, in a reputable company
- Fluency in French, English and Arabic
- Business and Financial acumen
- Quality and cost saving oriented
