A data analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Data analysts also collaborate with data engineers and scientists to ensure data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Gather data from various sources.
- Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Clean and transform raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Data Analysis: Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights.
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain data quality standards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Finance or Computer Science.Data analysis skills, with the ability to derive insights from dataData Visualization: Ability to create compelling visualizations and reports using different tools( eg . ppt)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.understanding of business processes, operations, and industry trends.Strong know-how in ERP system.Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of data analysis.Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Power-BI).
