What are the goals and responsibilities?At scandiweb, you will mainly work with Magento, PWA, and Hyvä. Sometimes, you will also get to work with Shopify and other platforms. It is a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, so get ready to learn a lot about eCommerce. To do so, your responsibilities will include:The first days will be focused on onboarding: familiarizing with tools, processes, company history, and culture.Complete educational tasks: apply learned tools in guided segments of real projects with mentorship.Enhance coding skills: take on real tasks and achieve first success with your assigned project team.Participate in quality assurance testing for assigned projects occasionally.What do we expect from you?In this position you will start as a junior; therefore prior work experience is not expected, but base development knowledge is required. If you have a strong basics in PHP and React.js, we welcome you to apply. These are the following skills and experience we seek for the role:A strong foundational knowledge of PHP, React.js, MySQL, and GraphQL is essential.Eagerness to learn quickly and build a solid foundation for growth.Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You will collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality delivery.Strong organizational and time management skills.Please note that if you are joining scandiweb remotely, you will need to have your own hardware setup. You must have:Ubuntu (Linux) operating system for work.
