The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in manual and automated testing. The Senior Software Tester will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for our cloud-based business modules, ensuring that all software meets our company's standards of excellence.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.• Experience with software testing methodologies and processes or relevant coursework.• Experience with test cases phrasing and formatting is a must.• Experience with using issue tracking tools is a must.• Experience with source control tools is a plus.• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks or relevant coursework or certification is a plus.• Basic scripting and programming skills, such as PHP or JavaScript is a plus.• Experience with the software development cycle of agile development is a must.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDuties & Responsibilities• Lead the testing efforts for our cloud-based business modules, including developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts• Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of our software products• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to identify and resolve software defects• Document and track software defects and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve them• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing best practices• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies in software testing• Identify and report defects discovered during test execution.• Receive claims of defects from the customer success team and validate them before being reported.• Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure software meets customer requirements.• Maintaining test documentation and test reports.Vacancy Highlights Location     : Street 9, Mokattam, Cairo.Working days : 5 days/week - 2 days offContract type : Full time
