- Experience in Construction and general accounting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collection activities
- Prepare and post general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and reconcile variances
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations to the Accounting Manager and senior management as needed
- Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial data and analysis as needed
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data and identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and other relevant data in the company's accounting system
- Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related fieldProfessional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Accountant (CA)Experience using accounting software and other financial management toolsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other teams within the organization
