Restaurant Storekeeper cum Purchaser (Downtown Dubai)

We are urgently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the combined roles of Restaurant Storekeeper and Purchaser. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly by managing inventory and purchasing supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory control systems for all food and beverage items
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Negotiate competitive prices for high-quality ingredients
  • Source new products and stay updated on market trends
  • Receive, inspect, and store deliveries according to safety and quality standards
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and forecasts to prevent stockouts
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure on-time deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO, LIFO)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety and hygiene standards
