The MENA Commercial team is now seeking a dynamic individual, to join the team as a VP Saudi Arabia– to lead the expansion of our business within this region. Rystad Energy is looking for candidates with exceptional sales experience within the Energy space. The candidate should also possess strong commercial and negotiation skills, knowledge of the MENA energy market, ability to listen and understand customer needs and excellent networking skills are sought. The opportunity and responsibilities As our new VP Saudi Arabia, you will get the opportunity to develop and execute product-driven and segment-focused client acquisition strategy as well as identify and generate new business opportunities to fuel the growth of our business. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, research, client training and services to drive engagement with prospects and close clients. Other responsibilities include selling Rystad Energy’s research offerings to companies/organizations within i) Energy companies ii) Governments iii) Industrial companies. You will also engage with, present & pitch to prospective clients (“prospects”) and on successfully bringing in new clients, you will be responsible for managing the client accounts to ensure renewal of services as well as growth through upselling/cross-selling of offerings. Experience and Qualifications For this position, we are looking for a candidate with minimum a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum five years of B2B Sales/Business Development experience within the Energy industry and/or within the Financial Services. Specifically, experience selling business or market intelligence services within the Energy industry and/or the Financial Services or Energy Trading segments Solid network of relationships across the MENA region within the Energy industry and/or within the Financial Services or Energy Trading segments that can be leveraged for new business generation Ability to engage with individuals across all levels within target organizations, including Senior Management/C-Suite Experience in internal stakeholder management – i.e. collaboration with cross-functional teams internally to drive prospect/client engagement externally CRM Experience If you also are an independent self-starter that thrive in a fast-paced environment that also possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and build trusted relationships – then this might be the right position for you!
